The complicated nature of dealing with the whole of this building has involved long working hours, many times until midnight and later as well as many

Sundays.

I beg to state that during the year 1909 I worked

457 hours or 65 days extra, 23 of which were Sundays; and during 1910, 686 hours or 98 days, 41 of which were Sundays making a total of 1143 hours or 163 days, 64 of which were

Sundays.

I beg also to point out that for some months I

was without any assistance at all.
